Elida Estate reached won BOTH Geisha categories breaking records in both categories, for the second year on the row Elida Estate wins first place in Geisha Washed category and Geisha Natural category. in 2018 Elida Estate broke the record for Geisha Washed with 94.66 and Geisha Natural did not reached a record score, but in 2019 Elida Geisha Washed reached 95.00 and Elida Geisha Natural broke the record with a 95.25 points. Winning first place in both Geisha categories in the same competition is something unimaginable, now doing it on back to back occasions feels like a dream.
Lets remember that both Elida Geisha champions got record prices in the auction celebrated in July 19th, 2019. Elida Geisha Washed reached $661/lb and it was sold to a group led by Saza Coffee in Tokyo, Japan, and Elida Geisha Natural was sold at $803/lb to Black Gold Coffee Ltd in Taichung, Taiwan. This year we expect a great auction but we will have to wait until July 16th, 2019.
